The Ball Guy - My Human Valentine

I love my Mommy very much. I mean, I chose her, right? I made a great choice because food and love are always available, but the thing I love about her the most is she got me the best toy ever; THE BALL GUY!!! Mommy calls him 'Brad' or 'Bread'...I can't quite figure it out. All I know is he's always got my favorite Nerf soccer balls and we play for hours and hours!

I'm a tortoiseshell so I'm very active. I have a huge drive to hunt and run and beat up things. The Ball Guy is the only one who truly understands my tortie need to go crazy and have fun.

Sometimes he comes over in the day when Mommy goes out in the hall to do her thing (I haven't quite figured out what she does out there but I'm working on it! Monday to Friday she spends up to 10 hours in the hall!). I love my alone time with The Ball Guy. He's so easy to get treats out of. I just 'meep' and he's putty in my paws ;). He puts on his crazy slippers and runs up and down the hall with me. After we're both a little tired, I get on his shoulder and let him spank my behind. Sounds crazy but I love it and I LOVE HIM! He is my Valentine this year.

He is an artist and he's painted me a few times. He did the paintings of Samson and I in our logo at the top. He has a website called Simpson Pet Art and guess who is on the front page? ME!! He loves me too, I'm sure of it. Why else would he put a big painting of me on his website?

Samson loves him too. Here's a picture of Samson trying to be like the Ball Guy when he was small. Who could blame him for wanting to be like him?

Samson knows that I love him (even though I give him a hard time sometimes) but the Ball Guy is my Human Valentine!

Happy Love day!

Delilah, that was just too sweet! We know the ball guy is thrilled to have you as a Valentine!
You sound a lot like Maggie May, though she is a Calico, she also loves to run and beat up things. Those things are usually her brofurs and sisfurs. Mom is trying to teach her not to do that, but she is a little stubborn.
The ball guy really does great paintings!!! Our mom has painted all of us and has her own site too.
Happy Valentine's Day, Samson and Delilah!

Aw - so cute! Tasha has a human valentine too - her dad. She likes to flirt with most human men, but her heart belongs to dad :).
Tasha says "meep" and "squeak" and "chirp" too - she hardly ever meows. I wonder if it's a tortie thing?

You are lucky to have a special human Valentine, Delilah. We read you had a URI. We hope your sniffles are all gone for Valentine's Day!

It's the same with Deli, Mishkat. She's basically mute until she wants something and then it's a little 'meep'. I'd be curious to see if that's a common tortie thing.

Thank you G & G! Deli is feeling much better now. Thank you. No more sneezing and runny nose. The only problem is Samson sneezed a few times this morning! Hopefully it was just because he stuck his nose in something dusty but we're on the look out.

Delilah, what a sweet Valentine tribute to your Ball Guy! And I'm sure he feels the same about you but really, how could he not? Isabella doesn't meow either but when her daddy leaves she squeaks at the door. He most certainly is her Valentine too!
