The World's Best Cat Litter

The good people at The
World's Best Cat Litter sent us a bag to try out. Mommy filled up our litter box last week with this stuff and we've been doing our best to test it out for her!

Neither of us wanted to be featured on camera actually 'using' the product (I mean, really!), but from our point of view, it's really great because it's not dusty like the other stuff which makes it easier to breathe while we're using the litter. For Samson, that should make a huge difference since he likes to take his time and scratch around (I think he's just enjoying his alone time). I, on the other hand, do not spend much time in there but it is better for my breathing when I have the sniffles
.

Here I am thinking about using the litter - Sorry folks, that's where I draw the line.

Mommy says that it is by far, the best litter she's ever used (she uses our litter???) and completely recommends it to anyone. Here are her likes and dislikes about it:

Likes:

Exceptional clumping - She says it's as good as or better than any other clumping litter she's bought.

Flushable - This is the best feature because she doesn't have to worry about using plastic bags to dispose of our poops and she said it's better for the environment that way

Odor control - Excellent!

Health benefits - The dust level is very low so this is excellent for the cat's health

All natural ingredients - It's made from corn.

Dislikes
:

Price - This is the only problem with the litter. We don't know how much it is in the US, and maybe a big part of the expense is that it's imported but it's at least 10 times the price of our other clumping litter. Mommy says she may just buy it anyway because of all the benefits, but she hopes the price goes down in the near future.

Have a great Thursday!

Delilah
xoxo

Hmm I'm trying to find a good litter right now! The one I'm using really doesn't cover up the smell.

It's flushable? That's so cool! I'm going to make momma look for that stuff for us to try out. She likes it when we go outside in the woods but we aren't able to do that all the time....and there are monsters in the woods......

Tommy has seen this litter in PetSmart and fainted at the price. Other cats have used it--and it's been about 50/50 of likes and dislikes. So she's deciding...thanks for the info!

We're trying that right now too and we really like it for all the reasons you listed. We found out that it's our cousin cats' favorite litter also. But it's also expensive here in the U.S., so we're seeing how long it lasts. (They have it in our local grocery store, though, which is a big plus!)

P.S. We wouldn't show pictures of us using the litter either!

I'm very fussy about my litter - I might have to get momma to check it out. I hope it doesn't cost much but it sounds really good

Wow guys! The World's Best Litter? We wanna try it out! Out mom uses TidyCat! It's for multi cats with long-lasting odor control. We don't care, we just mess it up anyways. But, it IS a wee bit dusty (considering Skeeter is in there forever digging her way to China, we think!)

Good to see another positive review. Our Mommy just received a sample of it from the WBCL peoples and is going to switch it out in one of our boxes this weekend to see how we like it. Sometimes expensive can be worth it, if all the other good outweighs the rest!

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

PS - The Mommy isn't sure if Peggy sells her Hairy Blankets, but she'd probably make you one for a CB kitty donation like she did for us if you asked! Contact her through her bloggie (linked on our post).

We were contacted ans have sent off for our bag. Our Dad is willing to try it cause he is chief litter box cleaner! WE will let every one know how we like it. It is good to read that it can be found in stores close to us.

I appreciate your discretion. Pretty interesting about being flushable. That's a good idea.

We got a bag to try too so we'll be posting our review in the next week or so...unfortunately, the only one who really likes this stuff is mom...for all the reasons you listed ('cept maybe the flushable one cuz mom sez she won't flush any litter no matter what the manufacturer sez). Anyway, in the last week and a half, I have never used it, Ernie has used it a few times and Zoey...well, we just don't know about her. (Mom was doing a test...one box with WBCL and one box with our old litter.)

Mom sez that here in the states, it is more expensive than our other litter....

We recently switched to Dr. Elsey's Precious Ultra Scoopable Litter and we are equally as satisfied with it as you sound with this.

Mom switched us over based on a Veteranirian's recommendation. The main reason was how well it clumps so that you can remove all the urine and any associated bacteria.

We had no problem switching to it.

Mom likes how clean and odor free the litter box stays now. We will continue to use it, even though it is much more expensive than our old litter.

Thanks for the test report on this litter. Sounds like a good idea -- I especially like the low dust part, because out litter boxes are in the basement and it gets very, very dusty there.

Glad you enjoyed WBCL too!! We're still using it and still love it! It is more expensive, but mom says it seems to last longer. Mom bought a small bag today when it was on sale for 7.99. You can also find coupons online to print out!

Maybe we should try some of that stuff:) Hey, Mom!

We are trying that stuff out, too. So far, so good! It seems that the higher price is worth it because it lasts so long. We wish we could get it at our grocery store.

We might have to try that litter too! We don't like dust either. It sounds odd that clumping litter is safe to flush but if it is, that's good too. Thanks for the great report Delilah!

Hello the Monkeys,

Hope the sun will come out tomorrow in Montreal. That litter stuff sound great, nanny really doesn't care about the one we are using right now.
Nanny is avoiding my litter box, I have to remind her to empty it.
Always very nice to hear from the Monkeys!

Big hugs,

Loki

::Whispers:: Samson is that why you're stressed... cause your Mom uses your litter? I know that would really stress me out too.

We bought some of the WBCL. Melvin tries to eat it. Apparently he really likes corn.
So we have to stick to the other kind.

We have been using The World's Best Cat Litter for about a year now. We have used several different kinds of litter and this is the best for no dust. Its a little expensive, but the dust from the clay litters makes my Savannah cough and the wheat litter gives my boy Bengal an allergy. This stuff is worth the money for us.

Sounds like a great litter. Dust is definitely a downside to any cheap litter. It can cause allergy issues. I'll give this a shot sometime.
