Sunshine Sunday

As Samson reported on Thursday, we have moved to our new apartment and we were not too pleased about it. Mommy and Samson were worried because I didn't want to eat, and even tuna didn't whet my appetite. Mommy wants to thank you all for your reassuring comments, because you were all right that we just needed our furniture here to feel better. She was silly to worry so much, because my appetite has returned and I'm making up for lost time.

One of the best things about our new place is the sunbeams. Our old apartment was lodged into a part of the building that only got sunshine for a maximum of a couple of hours a day. You can imagine my surprise when I discovered that the sunbeams are all living here - for most of the day!

I will have no problem dictating my posts from right here.

The movers came on Friday with all of our stuff and Samson, the box inspector, discovered another surprise in amongst all of our boxes. It seems that because The Ball Guy was moving that day too, Sweet Pea needed a place to stay out of trouble (like that's even possible), so she was shipped over to us to kittensit! She is not very appreciative - she's sticking out her tongue in this photo.

Sweet Pea is used to moving around because The Ball Guy brings her to visit us all the time. I hate to admit it, but having her here helped us to feel a little better. She is so relentless with wanting to play, that it distracted us from our worries. She had no trouble fitting in and feeling comfortable right away.

She really shouldn't get too comfortable though, because I will not allow her to take over this place like she did our old apartment!

We should be back to our normal visiting and blogging schedule by today and tomorrow. We have so much to catch up on!

I hope you're all enjoying some sunbeams today!

I am so happy that your new apartment is feeling more like home now. Congratulations on the sunbeams. When the sun shines, I get sunny spots most of the day, too. I have given you an award.

It is very hard on us cats to move. Most of us here haven't had to move but some of us did move a while back. It is a lot of getting used to, so we are glad you are settling in now. Things will get better and just think, more sun.

Deli, I'm so glad you are settling in and starting to enjoy your new apartment. The sunbeams are certainly a nice benefit of the move.

I guess little Sweet Pea is so used to travelling here and there, that nothing upsets her. I'm glad she could help you relax and play.

Pretty soon you are going to love your new home.

By the way, Samson is on Friday's LOLSpot.

Deli: I'm glad you and Samson (with the help from Sweat Pea) are getting settled. I gotta says Sweat Pea has really grown up! And YOU in the sunbeams--majestic! Just like the LadyCat of the house deserves--her OWN spotlight!

See? You HAD to move in order to get maximum sunbeamage. We're glad to hear you are settling in. We have a Sweet Pea, too...and she's anything but! Talk about mis-named. We love her anyway, she'a an awesome ear washer.

Mommy did find the perfect place, with so much sun. So great to bask in. Poor little Sweet Pea will be so jealous. But it was really sweet of her to help you two get used to your new home.

WE knew you would settle in! We have discovered a kitten, a tortie that looks like Sweet Pea ,in our back yard. Mom is feeding her and trying to get close to her.
