Tortie Tuesday

This week has been dubbed 'Scofflaw Week' by our very good friend Fin from Housecat Confidential

I am constantly accused of breaking the rules by Mommy but the evidence she has is purely circumstantial.

You can see the surprise in my face with this mugshot. Really, I shouldn't be shocked anymore. Her precious Samson can do no wrong, and Bella had her claws removed by her previous owner so there is no way she could have been involved in the following incidents.

Somecat broke through our new cat cube. Mommy claims that she saw me break through it right in front of her eyes. She must need glasses because I would never harm my favorite toy.

The witness (Mommy) claims that it was like a scene out of an old Kool-Aid TV commercial. I allegedly burst through the wall of the cat cube yelling 'Ohhh Yeahhh'. This kind of gross exaggeration is typical of a witness who has likely dreamt the whole thing!

The next crime was also not me, but Somecat poked holes in Mommy's new curtain with their claws. Samson and Sweet Pea both have their claws, yet I'm accused of putting holes in it just because I spend a lot of time grooming behind that curtain!

I am being falsely accused, but if Mommy is going to blame me for every catcrime in this house, I may as well make it worthwhile...

I've got the car keys! Let's go for a joy ride!

Poor Delilah! Presumed guilty, without a proper trial or any concrete forensic evidence. Are you going to hide those keys until you get an apology?

LOL ~ oh you are naughty Delilah ~ but funny! Don't worry, with your sweet face I am sure all will be forgiven. Though perhaps the joy ride would be a little much! :)

Happy Tuesday!

We are laughing so hard at that cube photo! We would have loved to see you breaking out. Tasha said she would be PROUD of shredding a cube like that and we think you should be too. Ditto for the curtains. Torties rule!

Oh Delilah, Looks like the cube is deaded. After all it is a toy and what else are you supposed to do with a toy but play with it. We think you did a great job deading it. And you cannot be blamed for the curtain. We admire you Delilah for breaking the rules and the cube. Have a great day.

I'm afraid all paws point back to you!

Guilty as charged!

The cube photo is priceless!

We think your innocent. We think "Not Me" came to your house and broke the cube and scratched the curtain.

Too funny! Love these pictures. Although....they don't prove anything!

Oh Delilah you have me laughing today! I remember that Kool-aid ad (omg how old are we?) and can just see you busting through the cube...um, er, that is if you were to do such a thing but I'm sure your mum just imagined the whole thing :-)

Brian said...

I know you would never do those things!

Kea said...

No, no, no, no! You are innocent unless caught in the act on video tape. You're being framed!

Your Mom CLEARLY was dreaming when you burst out of the cube. Those cubes are designed by legions of scientists who know the tensile strength of cube fabric to the nth degree!

The curtains, on the other hand...they DO look kinda flimsy.

Still, we think you are completely innocent of EVERYTHING.

The Kool~Kittie~Krew said...

You poor INNOCENT girl! We know it couldn't possibly be you! You're too mature for that childish nonsense. Blame Sweet Pea. We blame Cricket ALL the time! MWA HA HA HA HAAAAAAA

We torties just get a bad rap, don't we?

Okay, but if you're taking furries for a joy ride, be sure to read our post today first. You don't want to be stopped for a DUI - driving under the influence of pets.

Clearly your mom had a little too much of that liquid catnip if she thinks she saw you burst through your cube like the Kool-Aid man! We know you are innocent of everything Deli!

You know, we think that cube just needed some additional ventilation...and those curtains...maybe there was a SPIDER on them that somecat had to kill.....oh heck, you did it. Now let's go on that joy ride!! Can we drive by the dog pound and meow?

ABBY said...

Dear Delilah we do not believe you are the culprit...and we think you should get Rumbles to represent you in a legal case.

Oh Delilah!! Remember, you are innocent until proven guilty!! What about that Sweet Pea?? We always thought that her name was a misnomer!!

(But srsly, whichever cat broke through that cube...good job!!)

Poor Delilah. We can't believe you are being accused of all those things.

Wait a minute before going from misdemeanour to felony, Delilah!
It's one thing to "accidentally" destroy something with your claws, and another to steal a car, especially if you don't have a driFUR's licence!

I agree, though, that Mom shouldn't be too quick to judge.

Samson and Bella are on the LOLSpot today.
