House of Horrors

My beautiful friend Fin is hosting a House of Horrors week this week.

We, like most of you, have plenty of horrifying things in and around our apartment.  For example, we thought we had slayed the evil vacuum, but Mommy went and bought a Horrifying Hoover (a distant relative of Fin's Evil Dyson) last week.  This one is louder than our previous vacuum, and we're all trying to figure out how to rid ourselves of it.  I hid in the shell it hatched from to come up with some ideas.  I'll let you all know if I come up with anything...

I also discovered something extremely shocking that I'm a little nervous to admit.  Because of MY allergies, we've been switched over to a new food.  Our vet and some of you knowledgeable readers suggested that the best way to find out if my allergy is to a food ingredient is to switch over to a new food with a different protein and carbohydrate than what we're used to.  We are in mid-transition here, but look what we're eating now.

Rabbit = Easter Bunny!

That's right, we're eating Easter Bunny and we're all loving it!

Yummy!

It's difficult for me to face you all, because when your humans don't get chocolate on Sunday, you will have to tell them that The Monkeys ruined Easter by eating the Easter Bunny!

I hope you can forgive us and that you have a wonderful Easter despite this horrible news.

Samson

At least the evil vacuum brought a cool shell! Maybe it'll go away but leave its shell behind.

Samson, if eating the Easter bunny is helping your itchies then it's worth it for our Mommy to give up her Easter chocolate. We'll do our very best to make her agree too but it won't be easy!

Fingers crossed it's the Easter Bunny's distant cousin! Mommy gets crabilated without choclate.

And as soon as we figure out how to get a hit out on your Hoover, we'll let you know.

Oh Samson, we forgive you especially if it means your itchies will go away. We will gladly give up the chocolate rabbit for that. We want to hear how the food works too. We have never heard of that kind of food. Keeping our paws crossed that it works for ya. Take care.

My sister Zoe had the itch things too and they went away after we switched. But hey, we didn't get any rabbit food, I'll have to protest that decision!

NOOOOO, don't eat the Easter Bunny. This is my first Easter and mom said he's coming to our house. Guess not.

The thing i'm most afraid of is mommys grand humans. They are loud and smelly..

Samson, you are becoming increasingly...hilarious!
We want to thank all of you for standing by us during Tristan's illness and blindness. We don't know what we'd do without the support of our dear furriends:)

I am conflicted, too. I loves the Easter Bunny, but I also love my Nature's Variety rabbit medallions. What's a kitty to do?

I know what you mean Samson! Our baby "Easter Chick" was sitting on top of my Num-Nums can (made out of chicken). It's a good thing the chick can't read yet..
