Circe

Gabriel here!

I know, I know, I don't look like Circe, but the Monkeys' Mommy thought I would be the perfect spokescat to talk about Circe - a cat who is a current resident at Chrystal's Rescue in Illinois.

As most of you know, I too stayed at Chrystal's before The Monkeys adopted me.  I never had the pleasure of actually meeting Circe nose-to-nose, but if I had, I know I would have been knocked off my kitten paws by her gorgeousness!

Look at that coat...that face!  What a stunning ladycat.

To learn more about this gorgeous girl you can see her PetFinder profile HERE, and Chrystal's blog post about her is HERE.

Circe has been at Chrystal's for a long time.  Don't get me wrong, Chrystal's is a wonderful refuge that is filled with lots of love, but it can't compare to the joy of finding your forever home.  Circe was quite contented to stay there and not look for her forever home until very recently.  While she's always been friendly with other cats, she only recently became open to new people.  Personally, I think that she must have sensed that her future family is now looking for her, so she had to make herself more visible so that they can find her.  I am happy to help her with this task. Hopefully her new family is reading our blog and recognizes her right away.

Don't let the fact that she's in Illinois discourage you from moving ahead with adopting Circe or any of the adoptable cats at Chrystal's rescue.  I was brought all the way to Montreal, Canada from Chrystal's so we know it can be done.  If she's your future cat, let us know and we will do what we can to find a way to get her to you.  It'll be so worth it.

Gabriel
xoxo

Aw Gabriel, you're so sweet! My Leo came from Chrystal's too and I agree, distance is no problem. We are almost at the Michigan boarder and it wasn't an issue at all getting my sweet heart kitty from there!
Circe is a lovely kitty, she deserves a home of her own! I sure hope her new family is paying attention!
All the kitties in the cathouse there deserves a home of their own.. I hope everyone goes and looks and if they absolutly can't get a kitty for themselves, that they'll think of everyone they know in terms of who would make a great home for one of the kitties!
Gabriel, I could kiss your adorable little nose!

She truly IS a beautiful Lady Cat and her colors are beautifully defined pastels. Her coat is glorious and I love how you said that maybe she knows her forever family IS looking for her so she decided to become more people oriented.

May this beautiful Lady find her family and the love she so deserves.

Circe looks truly enchanting. A cat like her wouldn't last a minute in a shelter over here in Germany ( which is so unfair to the regular tabbys and black house panthers but that's another story) and we are sure that she'll find her special home any minute now. And look how she's baking biskuits!
Many purrs and luck to her!
