Mancat Monday

The weather is getting cooler by the day in this part of the world, so even though I'm an indoor cat, I've started growing my winter coat.

Mommy always laughs at my floofy collar. She says I remind her of William Shakespeare (but thankfully she thinks I'm much cuter)!

And with my dramatic speaking voice, she thinks she has a small, fluffy reincarnation of Shakespeare!

Hmmm, maybe if I try this Shakespeare thing with Deli, she'll pay more attention to me!

"Did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight!/ For I ne'er saw true beauty till this night."

She's not impressed...maybe I'll try another play next time.

  7. Such a lovely floofy collar with your coat, and we loved your meowing! Deli certainly should pay more attention to you, if she's not careful, some other girlcat may just steal you away!

  11. Very well spoken, Samson! You do indeed have a ShakesPURRean air about you when you're speaking! I think I even heard a little trill at the end there.

And your floofs equal none other than Dante's when it comes to the mane! Do you have some MC blood in you perhaps?

And, it's no use trying to get all dramatic and romantic with sisfurs! They just don't get it.

  18. If you are growing a winter coat and you are an inside kitty then we must be in for a long hard winter. Oh, I don't even want to think about that.

  22. Samson I really don't know why Delilah didn't just swoon when you started with the Shakespeare - she just doesn't appreciate you I guess. But we think you are a very handsome mancat (ok, mainly me and Lola - the boys are just like "yeah whatever")
