Medal Ceremony



Since Sweet Pea and I are the 'fetchers' of this family, I thought we should present the medals together. We aren't friendly enough to be right beside each other yet, but we can still be in the same photo!

First, we want to thank the beautiful Fin for organizing the Cat-O-Lympics


Now for the bronze medalists! We had a tie for bronze. With 5 votes each, Merci from Jan's Funny Farm and Ellie from Cory's blog! Congratulations, you two!



The silver medal goes to Milo! We thought for awhile that Milo would take the gold or tie with his brother, Alfie. It was a very close race!



The gold medal goes to Alfie! These brothers are awesome fetchers! You can see their winning video entries here




I asked Mommy for live doves to release for the ceremony, but she said no. So Sweet Pea will now release the celebratory lasers!



Thank you, Sweet Pea. Those lasers are pretty strong for such a small Tortie!

We want to thank everyone who participated! We had a ton of fun!

    Congratulations to the medalists!! All of the entries were great, was a difficult event to judge (no wonder Samson, Deli and Sweet Pea decided to open it up to the public...MOL). Well done to all.

    Ellie- Cory wake up! I'm honored to accept this bronze medal. I plan on competing again in 2012 and will continue my training to purrfect my skills and go for the gold!

    Purrs to my pals Milo and Alfie for inspiring me to continue with my fetching. I will not be retiring after this Olympics because I still have fetching goals to acheive.

    Congratulations to Milo and Alfie. They deserve the silver and gold medals respectively. Their mom must be very proud of them both.

    You two make a great team, even if you can't stand right beside each other! Congrats on the bronze -- it matches the bronzy colours in your furs! I'd love to see a picture of your both wearing it.
