Tortie Tuesday

Bella arrived at our house yesterday, and even though we have not yet met her face to face, we know she's here! We were all waiting outside the bedroom door to catch a glimpse of our new housemate.

She does not look nearly as floofy as she did in the pictures, but Mommy said she was shaved before she came here. She threatens to do that to us, but I think Bella's unhappy face is enough to convince me that I do NOT want to be shaved!

Mommy says she'll have more to report when we finally meet each other, but she wants to let Bella get comfortable with the room first.

Bella is quite feisty, according to Mommy, but she's eating and drinking and making herself comfy.

Did she have some mats and that is the reason for the shave?

    I hope everything goes well!

  6. Poor Bella had to have all her hair shaved off. It probably is a good thing that she is a little feisty. WE sure hope it all works out for you Bella in your new home and that everyone is nice to you. Probably having your own room is a good thing right now. Glad you are eating etc.
    Have a good day.

  13. Hello Bella!
You are a pretty kitty, even missing a few furs. Feisty, huh? never a bad thing!

  15. She looks so different from her other photo. I hope it works out for you. My Meredith had been shaved and after seven months is almost grown out. She is very shy and her brothers bother her but she's my bedroom/bathroom queen and is a love.

  16. Bella is very very cute, but she does look miserable being shaved - poor thing!

Tasha says she think Bella might be really scared - Tasha herself is just awful at the vets (snapping, growling, etc. - it's difficult to believe!), and it is because she is afraid.

We're sending many purrs for a smooth adjustment for everyone.

  18. It seems like Bella is causing quite the stir! At first I was confused, but I guess Sweet Pea is there, too!

Bella's little face is simply gorgeous! I guess you can see her features more since she's shaved. At least she can start off fresh in her new home -- fresh fur and efurrything!

I wish her, and you, a smooth transition. She's a very lucky girl!
