Tortie Tuesday

Ever since the first night that I arrived at Mommy's house to live we've had a tradition where as soon as she lies down in bed, I jump up on the pillow beside her and give her kisses.

It lasts about 5 to 10 minutes and I usually drool on her. As all of you kitties know, cat drool is a wonderful gift to give a human. It is filled with healing properties and lots of love. Over the years, the tradition has continued and Mommy is mostly appreciative. She says I get a funny look in my eye and I'm very determined.

Mommy is just getting over a cold and is definitely in need of some healing cat drool tonic, so last night I was more determined than ever to give her a dose. She was lying on her side so I walked up to her on her shoulder and leaned over her face. She turned her head to tell me how pretty I am and I dropped my drool right in her mouth! She jumped up and ran to the bathroom and immediately started brushing her teeth. How rude! I guess she doesn't really want to get better. Humans are just as difficult to give medicine to as they're always complaining cats are!

  1. Sometimes, moms just don't appreciate the help we try to give them.

  2. Well how does she expect to get better if she doesn't take her cat drool tonic? Humans are so hard to understand!

  6. MOL, that was rude of that Mom to wash that healing drool away. How does she expect to get better?? That Mom is very silly.
Take care and we do hope Mom feels better soon even without the drool.

  13. Oh you really made me laugh, Delilah! I've had something similar happen with Domino -- though not in my mouth -- but definitely dropped on my face.

I hadn't realized before that cat drool has healing PURRoperties, but now it makes a lot of sense.

Your Mommy is lucky to have an affectionate kitty like you, drool or no drool.

  15. Well...your mom should realize that if she swallowed the medicinal love drool she would have been better by morning. Sigh.

    Silly humans.

Pee Ess...I talked with Ginger and she says she is open to having a couple of big mancats in her life. She's not ready to get married yet. I mean she is Ginger afterall. More is never enough.

Teri has a cold right now...do you think we could work up some spit for her?
