As much as I love and trust Mommy, I was a little worried that I would lose all my fur. The day before she adopted me, I had all of my floof stolen by the people at the shelter! Mommy saw how self-conscious it made me, so she promised me she would not let the groomer steal all my fur.
I believed her, of course, but I was very nervous anyway!
It turns out that they had to shave my stomach and bee-hind, but you can't even tell by looking at me! I am very happy and comfortable without all those nasty knots.
I'm so thankful that I have a Mommy that keeps her promises!

ReplyDeleteBrushing is good. You must have a lot of it. If Mommy forgets, take the brush to her. She'll understand.

ReplyDeleteTell Mom thanks for the offer of the DVD but BB doesn't have a DVD player in her room. Maybe I should look into getting one for her. She does sit and look out the window when Mom is outside. But thanks so much for the nice offer. It sounds like the solution.
We are glad you aren't naked Bella - it is too cold to have furs stolen. I (Hannah) had some of my furs stolen last summer because of nasty knots but mum has got a pair of tiny scissors now and if she finds the beinning of one that won't unravel she has a quick "snip" and it's gone - I don't like it but it is better than being (whispers) shaved!!

ReplyDeleteMommy has to chase knots on my chest and tummy every now and again and she tries to get them off with a tiny pair of scissors IF she thinks it can be done safely..in other words, me not moving.

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you didn't have to have all of your furs shaved again. I've got a few knots myself lately and mom is slowly working on them. She finally figured out that I haven't been as patient lately because my joints have been aching. She started me on a supplement and is hoping I'll feel better in a couple of weeks.
