Mankitten Monday

Gabriel here!

A LONG time ago, before I was even here, World's Best Cat Litter asked The Monkeys to review the new lavender-scented litter.  They sent them a bag, and of course they used it and didn't even review it, so I'm here to help them get organized.

By all accounts, it smells amazing and even covers Sweet Pea-powered poop smells!   It must be powerful stuff.  My Daddy says it smells nice, but not overwhelming.  Daddy also loves that it tracks much less than the other corn-based litter we used to use.  It means less of the evil vacuum for us too!

The scented litter is not available in our area of Canada , but Sweet Pea and I use World's Best, so to make up for our late review, Sweet Pea and I will demonstrate how to use the regular version of World's Best Cat Litter.

Uh, Sweet Pea, you're not doing it right...the litter is supposed to be in the box first.

I don't know if Canadian cats do it differently, but where I come from, the litter has to be in before you poop and you're definitely not supposed to sleep in there.

She's not even listening to me, but I need to show everyone how to use this stuff, so I need to do whatever I have to to get Sweet Pea to cooperate.  I hear whispering in a ladycat's ear is supposed to make them do anything!

I guess in the interest of being more like my new Canadian family, I'll try it their way.

Nope!  This isn't right!

Sweet Pea is so stubborn and she's ruining my first review!  I've got to show her how to use the litter properly.

Trying to get Sweet Pea to do something she doesn't want to do is almost impossible!

My review was a flop, but we definitely use and love World's Best Cat Litter.  As soon as the lavender-scented litter is available here, we'll be getting some.  In the meantime I'll keep trying to teach Sweet Pea the proper way to use cat litter!

Gabriel
xoxo

  3. I guess things just work differently in Canada - the cats have to break in the litter box by sleeping in it before it gets the litter put in! Who knew?

  6. Gabriel, we loved the video of you both. Made our mom smile to see you two wrasslin' and being typical siblings. :-)

We just use Maxx Scoop, which seems to work the best for us, of all the litters the mom has tried. Never heard of this lavender-scented version of World's Best, you guys probably will get it there before we do, in our smaller city. But since the mom can't smell anyway, it doesn't matter. Ha!

  10. Oh Gabriel you are so adorable!!! Nice to see you and Sweet Pea playing and having fun together :-)

We tried WBCL but we found the corn even more dusty than traditional clay litter and there was always loads of yellow dust all around the litter boxes (4) so we changed back.

  12. Gabriel...sometimes the cross cultural communication and teachings can be so tough, but you are handling it like a pro for such a young one.

You are correct that in the U.S of A. us kitties have litter in the box before doing our thing...but I suspect it's the same in Canada and Sweet Pea is just pulling your paw.

  15. Gabriel you weren't going to let Sweet Pea push you out that litter tray - good for you - we think she'll find she's got her paws full trying to make you do what she wants!!

  18. Gabriel, that's the way it is with most females - getting them to do something they do not want to do is next to impossible. Good think you are learning that now while you are still young :-)

  20. Hi Gabriel! Wow we can't believe how much you have grown - we have been away a long time! We are so excited about your first attempt at a review - too bad you couldn't get Sweet Pea to cooperate though. It is funny because Trixie, who also used to live with Chrystal before moving in with us, likes to sleep in one of our empty litter trays (it is one that hasn't been used in a long time because it is little). Maybe it is a ladycat thing, more than a Canadian cat thing - we aren't really sure on that one!

  21. Hi Gabriel! Looks like you have quite the challenge getting sweet pea to listen to you! World's Best Cat Litter really is the best, I don't think I'll ever use anything else! I haven't seen the lavender scented stuff in the stores here in northern ontario either yet, but maybe we'll try it out too!

  22. Gabriel, oh my... Canadians! Don't give up you can teach her how to use the litter box the American way! You're so adorable Gabriel!

I wish I could give you a hug, well not me but Nanny!

  23. Gabriel, you are such a cutie! We didn't know that Canadian kitties have to get in the box before the litter goes in! We enjoyed your review and especially the video of you and Sweet Pea! She's pretty gentle with you so we can tell she loves you already!

  24. Gabriel, we're glad you are there to keep Sweet Pea in line...even if she didn't listen to you!!

  26. we reviewed World's Best a few months back and made the switch to their litter ever since!

I agree, it tracks much less and is MUCH easier to clean up.

I have been looking everywhere for the lavender scent but I don't think it is available in Michigan :(

  27. Haha ~ perhaps you will be able to do your review another day. That box really does look like a cozy place to sleep. ;)
