Oh Bella. :( Maybe next time your Mom could ask the groomer to only shave your belly and armpits area and leave the other parts alone? I do that for some cat clients so they at least look like they have a full coat. That's if the tummy is the only "problem area". You do look very adorable, though. :)

Oh Bella BELLA darling beautiful girl. When my sisfur who came before me, the Admiral had her furs shaved off her tummy and her leggies, she looked, um, well...different. But she was shaved for the same reason, she would not let mommy brush her tummy or back legs. Maybe your groomer could just keep your tummy cut to about 1 inch. That ought to do it. Were your arms matted too? Poor dearest girl. Keep warm honey. Love you bunches, me and mommy.

Oh, wow! You got the full lion cut! The last time my tummy fur got matted, I only got my chest and part of my tummy shaved. Later I got a half-lion because my flanks and chest got matted. I let my Mom brush more of me now and she works out the little mats with her fingers. I think you still look cute and it will grow out again.
Our poor Bella! We're giving our mom a hard time about brushing our tummy, too, but Mom Paula is one determined lady!
