Independence Day

We're Canadian cats, but we thought we'd join in a bit in the celebration with our neighbors!

Our friends, Tristan and Crikey, sent us an American flag in our Paw It Forward box so Mommy took some pictures of us showing our respect to our friends who are south of the border.



Here is Delilah being moved by the national anthem




I didn't want to be left, out so I gave the flag a rub to show my respect.



And put on my United States bandanna



Although Delilah was pretty well-behaved...



...she couldn't help but put the bitey on the flag.



There's no disrespect intended - she's a Tortie and they have very few boundaries. She also wanted to show Tasha that it was okay that she bit the Maple leaf the other day!

    I think torties have an 'anything goes' rule....anyway, thanks for recognising our holiday! Ask for extra treats today, it's part of the celebration!!

    You are both so cute in all these photos! Samson, that bandana looks great on you (and our mom is impressed that you would actually wear it!) And Tasha says "Thanks" to Deli! After all, that's how torties show they like something - just ask our dad :)!
