Tortie Tuesday

We're still in the throes of our packing and moving, and we won't be back to posting full-time until we're actually set up in our new place, but Mommy asked me to write a post to announce a special event we have coming up in May. On May 17th, it's both mine and Mommy's birthday and collectively we'll be turning 444! She'll be 44 and I'll be 4. I guess that means she's twice as old as me, although she looks and acts a lot older sometimes.



For our birthdays, we're going to have a big contest and giveaway with prizes! We won't tell you exactly what the prizes are yet, but we do need your help for our contest. Since it's Mommy's birthday too, it was my idea to do something that involved one of her favorite things - Tortie toes! She thinks mine look like big fuzzy caterpillars and she's always smooching them. If you're a Tortie (or Torbie, or Tortico, basically any 'Torttoes'), and you have a blog, we need a photo of your toes for our contest! The prizes won't be just for Torties. All kitties will be able to enter the contest.

To send in your Torttoes, please send them to themonkeycats at gmail dot com. The more toes we have, the more fun the contest will be.

Hopefully we'll be back soon with new photos in our new place!

    Sounds fun! Cricket has some crazy furry torti~toes! Mom calls them her little Swiffers.

    Well that explains why Mommy has been trying to take pictures of my Torttoes lately! Guess we'll be sending you a photo whenever I let her get a good photo of them.

    All the best for the move! Things like these can be tiring, but we think you are well prepared. Your contest honouring your two birthdays sounds dead cool, we can't wait for all the details. It's a shame our toesies are all white...
