Tortie Tuesday

The Monkeys' Mommy here.

Today is both Deli's and my birthday!  My sweet little girl is turning 5 and I'm only 40 years older than that...sigh.

She's still sleeping like an angel, so we have to be very quiet...


Deli, sweetie...it's time to wake up.

Delilah: I'm a cat, mom, don't you know there is never a specific time we HAVE to wake up?


I know, sweetie, but today is our birthday...and...umm, we're live on the blog.

Delilah: Oh, uhhh right.  Live on the blog?  How is that possible?  You know you're not supposed to use the blog unsupervised...but since it's your birthday too, I'll let this one slide.


Thank you, Deli, you're the perfect boss.  Now how about some birthday smooches?  Your friends all want to wish you a happy birthday.  Maybe you should get up?

Delilah: Smooches?  Of course!  You should have warned me so I could have groomed my furs.



You're beautiful as always!  I love you, little girl - Happy Birthday!

Delilah: Thank you, Mommy!  I love you too.  Thank you all my friends for the birthday wishes for Mommy and I.  We love you all so much!



Our friends Sammy, Andy, Shelly and Judi made these beautiful birthday cards for us.




Delilah: Awww, that is so pretty!  Thank you guys!  You're the best.  Special smooches to handsome Sammy!

You're going to make Samson jealous, Deli, but I understand - you need to keep him on his toes.

Now, let's go get ourselves some birthday treats.
