Yikes! It's our 3rd Blogaversary and we didn't even have a post prepared!!
Mommy only noticed when she visited the CB this morning and read it!
Even though we haven't been blogging nearly as much, Delilah and I are very happy we started this blog and met all of you wonderful kitties, doggies and peoples.
We love you all and we hope to be back to our regular schedule soon!

Tortie T(h)ursday
I was a very well-behaved Monkey this year so when Santa left a big box under our tree, I knew it had to be for me!
He brought me a new Drinkwell 360 Stainless Steel fountain!
I loved it as soon as Mommy plugged it in. I tried to bite the streams of water and ended up getting my fur all wet, but I keep going back for more.
Delilah also loves this one, but Samson hasn't touched it yet. Maybe it's because I give him an intimidating look every time he tries!
Hopefully Santa won't be looking for bad kitties until November at the earliest.

Wordy Wednesday
We had a fabulous Christmas and New Year, and we hope you all did too. All of the Monkeys were together on Christmas day, so I will pepper this post with some of the photos of Gabriel and I hanging out (the girls were much less social). We will go over some of the awesome gifts we got in the next little while, but first I wanted to let you all know of a little bit of good news.
As most of our regular readers know, I'm plagued with itchies and Mommy has been trying very hard to figure out what I'm allergic to. We still don't know what is causing them, but my last dose of medication was 6 weeks ago and I'm still symptom-free. In the past, my symptoms have returned within a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks after my medication, so something is definitely different this time around.
Of course we know that the allergies could reoccur at any time and we are all holding our breath and almost afraid to mention it.
Mommy checks me for scabs every day and so far I'm good. I am not scratching at all either. We don't know exactly what has changed, but Mommy is going to keep everything (litter, food, detergent, cleaning products, etc.) exactly the same. She has been desperate to find what my allergy is and has changed almost every product we use!
We are purring like crazy that our dear friend Jasper's health improves and for the wonderful mom of Admiral Hestorb and our sweet friend Marg after their recent losses, and we know you're all busy doing the same, but if you can spare a purr or two that my itchies don't come back, I'd really appreciate it. Mommy has been SO worried about giving me too many doses of steroids to treat the symptoms of allergies and she will do anything if I never have to have another pill again.

Mancat Monday
Sometimes, when mommies get so busy that they don't help you blog, you need to pull out the big guns and do something so ridiculously cute that they HAVE to take your photo and subsequently blog for you.
I did just such a thing the other day when I tried to squeeze myself into an open drawer.
Mommy can't resist my cuteness. She was telling me how adorable I am the entire time she was taking pictures.
Now you're making me shy, Mommy! Just load these photos up and get to blogging already. We don't want people to think we disappeared forever!

Mankitten Monday
The Monkeys' Mommy has been so busy lately so I thought the only way to get her to blog was to yell, in a very dramatic fashion.
I apologize for the rudeness, but at least it worked! She can't resist me.
In addition to being of southern origin, I was born in springtime, so I was not prepared for Canadian weather! Do you see this crazy white stuff on my balcony?
Daddy let us out on the balcony to see my reaction. Sweet Pea is an old pro when it comes to snow, but this stuff is cold!
I guess this is another thing I'm going to have to get used to now that I'm a Catanadian! I do love the tradition of a long nap after the snow play, though.

Tuxie Tuesday
It's been over a month since I went to the vet. I don't know what happened there, exactly. All I know is I feel like I came home just a little bit lighter. Ah well, whatever they took couldn't have been that important if I don't even know what it is!
I am getting closer and closer to Mancathood and, even though I'm devoted to Sweet Pea, I think it's only right that the Ladycats out there see what a handsome boy I am.
I asked Samson's advice on how to pose since he has all the Ladycats swooning, and he said to act natural and be as cute as possible at all times. I think I can handle that!
Maybe I need a little work. I think I'll leave the Mancat stuff to Samson and just continue being a kitten for now!
