Ginger Jasper
The Ball Guy finished another one of the pen and ink portraits for our contest winners. This one was the ever so handsome Ginger Jasper!

Portrait Contest Winner (s)
Today we announce the winner of the portrait contest!
Mommy originally wanted Deli or I to draw from a pile of names on film, but the batteries on her camera died in the middle of filming and she didn't have any charged so she entered all the names in the randomizer at random.org.
Here is a screen shot of the 'randomized' list:

This is the picture that the Ball Guy will refer to.
The Ball Guy was so impressed with all the beautiful photos that yesterday he said to Mommy to have Deli and I draw two names (but we all know how our big 'on-camera' draw turned out!). So congratulations to The Creek Cats also!
These are the beautiful girlcat photos by The Creek Cats. Mommy says to contact her and let her know which one of the two you'd like The Ball Guy to draw.

And the beautiful new Creek Cat, Saylor
AND, the winning doesn't stop there! Mommy made a big mistake and forgot to enter Fin! Of course I would never forget Fin! She was one of the first ones to enter too. It really is hard to find good blog secretaries! I used my cutest face and squeaks and The Ball Guy is going to draw Fin too. He said she's so beautiful that he doesn't mind at all.
In fact, he said he wishes he had the time to draw all of the entries!
The Ball Guy is going to get on drawing the kitties right away and we'll send out an email to the winners to request mailing addresses so we can send your portraits. We'll also post them on the blog when they're done.
Thank you all for entering and giving Delilah and I a break from posing!

Samson and I are very excited because The Ball Guy has offered to do a pen and ink portrait of one of our friends!
The prize is an original pen and ink (black and white) 8 1/2 x 11 portrait of one of you!
To enter, you will need to submit a photo or a link to your photo to us at themonkeycats at gmail.com (or just use the email link in our Blogger profile). The photo must be clear and in focus and the higher resolution the better, with a minimum of 1200 px on a side or at least 1 megapixel. All submissions received before Thursday, November 5th at 6pm EST, will be entered into the draw. Any cat (or dog) is eligible, even if we've never met you before. Don't forget to include your name and blog name (if applicable) when you submit your photo.
You can see The Ball Guy's work on our Friday Funnies blog but here is an example of a portrait he did of me.

Friday Funnies
Mommy and my beloved Ball Guy did a little comic strip of Samson and I that they think is funny (The Ball Guy did all the drawing). I find it hard to understand how our real life drama is amusing...but we'll indulge them.
