Bella's Birthday

Oh hey there!

It's my 14th birthday today! 

We haven't been around much but I wanted to let you all know that we're doing fine and all is well.

I have been adapting to life with a boyfriend.  I still don't love Iggy, but I do kind of like him.  It's great to have a friend to fur up furniture with.   He is so persistent and doesn't seem to mind when I'm grumpy.  I suppose that's what every ladycat wants!

I will be spending my birthday being doted upon by my humans and eating the finest foods and nocat better call me old...

...or else!

Gabriel's Gotcha Day

It's my second Gotcha Day!

The Monkeys' Mommy came by yesterday to smooch me up, take some photos, remind me of how special I am and tell me how happy she is that I'm in her life.  I get that kind of treatment every day from Daddy, but it's nice when she visits too!

I was transported all the way from Chrystal's in Illinois to my home with The Monkeys in Montreal, Canada two years ago.  You can read my Gotcha Day story HERE.

Chrystal rescues lots of cats and  I think I've proved that you don't have to be from around there to adopt a cute cat from her.  You can see her PetFinder page HERE and read about the cats she rescues HERE

I'm very happy in my forever home with Sweet Pea and Daddy!  Life is pretty darn good.

Bella's Gotcha Day

It's my third Gotcha Day!

I was adopted 3 years ago from Gerdy's Rescues and Adoptions.  My former owner had to be hospitalized and his mean daughter brought me to the vet to be killed.  Thankfully the vet called Gerdy to save me so I could be adopted by The Monkeys!

I complain a lot, but I love my home.  I am treated like the diva I am!  I love it so much here that I even tolerate the other Monkeys now.

Delilah and Mommy's Birthday

It's my birthday today!  I'm 7 years old and still as spry as a kitten.

It's also Mommy's birthday.  She's 47 years old and, well, not so spry.

Mommy will be celebrating at Sweet Pea and Gabriel's house tonight, but since it's a long weekend in Canada, I'll have the whole weekend plus a day to be spoiled by Mommy. I'm sure there will be lots of treats and snuggles.

Iggy and Gabriel's Birthday

The Monkeys' Mommy made a big mistake.

She forgot to post about my birthday!

How could you forget this face?

It was on April 15th and I am now two!  Of course she and my Daddy remembered on the actual day, but she didn't post about it so that all my friends could remember too!  

To make matters even worse, she also decided that it is Iggy's birthday today! Now I have to share a post with that weird looking dude.  

They know very little about his history or even how old he actually is, but by the vet's estimation, he is around 5 years old, and because today is the birthday of Iggy Pop, the guy he is named after, the humans decided this would be as good a day as any to celebrate Iggy's birthday. 

The Monkeys' Mommy always said she thought Iggy (the cat) was more like a Sagittarius (whatever that means), but his birthday is chosen now and she's saying that it's his 5th birthday today.  As long as I don't have to share my birthday treats with him, I guess I'm okay with it too.
