Wordy Wednesday
We are taking an unexpected break. Our Mom's car suddenly didn't want to start, so she has to take public transport to get to and from work until it's fixed. Normally this wouldn't be much of a problem, but she's also very busy at work so she has no time to do much visiting and commenting. We will definitely be back on Saturday for Livestrong Day, though!

Mancat Monday
Isabella from The Beaded Tail posted about a really awesome Etsy store and she recommended Laura and The Cat in the Clover and the Cat Angels available in her store. Of course, Mommy ordered one of them right away as a memorial to her former Mancat, Muddy.
Here is the Muddy Cat Angel:
I was a little hesitant because I really like being Mommy's only Mancat. I don't want to share her or my girls with anyone else. But when the Muddy Cat Angel arrived, it made Mommy so happy. She cried a little bit thinking about Muddy at first, but she said the Angel makes her feel very good.
I like the fact that the new Muddy is not very big, so if he gets out of paw, I'll be able to handle him.
I'm the head Mancat around here now, you got that?
Maybe it won't be so bad having Cat Angel Muddy around. I could use a Mancat friend to hang out with. Besides, he's pretty quiet.

Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet Week
This week is Petfinder.com's Adopt a Less Adoptable Pet Week
As hard as it is for Mommy (and I) to believe, I was considered 'less-adoptable' because of my age, the fact that I've only ever been an only cat and that I was declawed by my previous owner!
I was underweight, grumpy and had a very bad shave job, but Mommy knew when she saw my cute face, that I was destined to become a Monkey.
She adopted me from Gerdy's Adoptions and Rescues. Gerdy is a wonderful woman who takes on many 'less-adoptable' dogs and cats and makes it her mission to find them a loving forever home. Because she saved me, I want to feature one of the other cats at Gerdy's who needs a forever home pronto!

I can't understand how someone would abandon this handsome Mancat! We are purring that Gucci, and all the other kitties and doggies at Gerdy's Rescue, get adopted soon.
Also, our good friend Tasha made us aware of another bunch of cute kitties that need help finding homes.

Mancat Monday
We have had a lot of celebration here for Bella's adoption and Sweet Pea's first birthday! I'm exhausted!
Thankfully there are plenty of comfy places to sleep here, but there's nothing better than a warm seat.
It's even better if it's warm because Mommy just got up to get a drink of water.
To keep my warm seat, I have to look cute and innocent and act like I have no idea what she means when she accuses me of stealing her chair.
I think you're mistaken, Mommy. You were sitting over there. I've been here the whole time!
