Mancat Monday

Unfortunately I lost the big TV box I had last week. Mommy said it had something to do with the fact that it was very large and took up too much space and it had to go to recycling. I would LOVE to go to this 'recycling'. All of my beloved boxes have gone to this magical place!

Now I'm forced to nap on non-box spots.

Maybe if I look really sad, Mommy will let me go to 'recycling'.

Tortie Tuesday

Samson here. I realize it's a little strange that I'm doing a Tortie Tuesday post, but I feel I must offer some advice on how to deal with Torties to my Mancat friends Sammy and Andy since it looks like they will have the beautiful Tortie Shelly in their lives very soon.

Deli and I have a fairly harmonious relationship but it's only because I follow the very important Tortie rules.

1) She is always right! Even though you know in the depths of your soul that you are right, you're wrong! Get used to it. There's no way around it...believe me, I've tried. You may be physically more powerful than her, but trust me, she will make your life a living hell unless you agree with her.

2) Let her approach you for smooching. Torties are incredibly beautiful and I know firstpaw how attractive they are, but friends, they never want to smooch when you do. Take what you can get and give her big kisses after she gives you the sign. It's all you'll ever get.

3) Give her the most comfortable spot in the house. It may seem unfair but my motto is: A happy Tortie equals a happy Mancat. These girls are headstrong and they will push you out of your favorite spot without blinking an eye. In fact, I really don't think they even know how to blink.

4) Know when to walk away. Always leave them wanting more. This way they will never get tired of you. As difficult as it is to leave their embrace, it keeps them appreciating your charms. Besides, if you end up staying longer than you should, you'll get smacked.

They're really not as bad as they sound. Their incredible beauty and dogged loyalty will win you over every time. If you follow these simple rules, you'll be happy Mancats with the beautiful Shelly to show off!

Mancat Monday

Mommy bought a new ginormous TV that, to be honest, I don't care much about. The exciting thing about this new TV is the glorious box it came in!

Boxes are the closest thing to heaven and I am taking full advantage of this one!

It's perfect for snoozing, stretching and washing. I also like running at it and sliding along the top of it.

So far everyone in the house is busy watching the big TV, so hopefully they'll all forget about storing this box.

P.S. Mommy has been too busy to help us post so we haven't had the opportunity to send out our purrs for Annie's family. We were all so sad to hear about her leaving and we miss her very much.

Tortie Tuesday

Most of the time I like to sleep on hard surfaces like the floor. That's why Mommy was surprised to see me luxuriating on a big fluffy pillow!

It's good to keep mommies guessing by doing the unexpected once and awhile. Besides, this pillow is really warm and comfy.

Stop staring and get over it, Mommy!

Mancat Monday

Happy Valentine's Day to all the beautiful Ladycats out there!

Deli is my Valentine again this year but she really doesn't mind sharing.

I've got so much love to give!

Two Tortie Tuesday

The title of this blog entry might lead some of you to think that maybe I'm starting to get along with either Delilah or Sweet Pea...well, you'd be wrong! I've found another Tortie living here who is much more my speed.

She is strikingly beautiful and very floofy. I don't know her name yet, but I think she may be a little shy.

So far I've only seen her in one part of the house on the other side of this big glass window. We love hanging out together and she even likes to copy my poses!

Hopefully I can get friendly enough with her to coax her into this part of the house so we can hang out all the time. I think she's really cool!

Mancat Monday

There wasn't any football on in our house yesterday!

Mommy is a die hard hockey fan, and even though she kind of likes football, she didn't like any of the teams in the Super Bowl, so we didn't even watch it.

Even The Ball Guy agreed that we should watch something else.

Let's see what's happening on The Outdoor Network!

If you did watch the game, I hope your team won!

Tortie T(h)ursday

Sweet Pea here!

Now that I'm growing up , I thought it would be a good time to let Daddy take a lot of photos of me as the Ladycat that I have become.

My Tortie-Mentor, Delilah, has been coaching me on how to pose properly.

As it turns out, I don't need her coaching! I'm a natural!

Although I have to say, this posing thing gets a little boring...

Tortie Tuesday

It's still extremely cold here so I've decided to join Samson in trying to convince Mommy to stay home and snuggle with us.

Samson is my best friend but I love him even more in the Winter. His big, fluffy body generates so much heat, it's like having a purring heater to snuggle with.

Samson may be big, but Mommy is even bigger! If she joins our snuggle-pile, it'll be the ultimate in warmth!

There's no way she can resist this!
