I've been feeling a little under the weather again with another bout of URI so when Mommy was taking these photos for my Tortie Tuesday post, I wasn't as enthusiastic as I usually am.
My appetite is as hearty as ever and I'm not dehydrated, I'm just tired and sneezy. I'm actually feeling much better as of yesterday but it has been a rough couple of days.
Mommy spoke to my vet and his opinion is to not give me antibiotics unless my breathing gets difficult or it lasts too long. Mommy is just concerned that it has been too soon since my last URI (February) and that Samson doesn't seem to ever show any symptoms. She is happy he doesn't get sick but she wonders why, considering it's contagious. When I'm sick, he's always all over me trying to make me feel better. Actually, it's not only when I'm sick, he's always all over me...
We have a vet appointment coming up for Samson's teeth evaluation so Mommy said she's going to have the vet do some blood tests and make sure I'm okay.
I did some very enthusiastic ball-chasing yesterday and I ate all of my raw food and most of Samson's. I'm feeling much better! Mommy worries too much!
Mums always worry too much, thats what mums do lol but we wouldn't want it any other way.. I hope you feel better soon..
Purring for you GJ xx
Poor Delilah! I've never had the flu, but it sounds awful.
Mommies worry, that's what they do. We don't like to hear you are feeling under the weather, Delilah. We wish there was something we could do to make you feel all better, sweetheart! Sending you recovery vibes!
We're really sorry you're not feeling well, Deli (although eating all your food and most of Samson's makes it sounds like you might be a bit better!) Sending you many purrs! And Tasha says she hopes that Samson is not bothering you too much :)
You poor dear. Purrs to you to feeling better soon!
I hope you feel better soon, Delilah. Lord knows no woman likes to go through such an ordeal, be they feline or homo sapien. Take it easy and get well!
Delilah, we are so sad that you do not feel well. We hope your URI is all cleared up soon. That 2nd photo of you is gorgeous!
We hope you feel better soon....
You're looking good Delilah, despite your URI! And if you're chasing toys and fending off Samson, you can't be deathly ill. I think some kitties are just more susceptible than others -- and it's like humans, if you've had a bad URI before, it can make it easier to get another one. It's like that with me for bronchitis.
Anyway, we hope you feel better soon and that mommy is worrying for naught.
Delilah, you are looking furry beautiful there despite having a cold! We hope you feel better soon...but sounds like you are getting there!
Get better, sweet girl! We will send purrs your direction.
Delilah, we're sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well but hopefully you are on the mend and that your brofur didn't catch it either. Get well soon beautiful!
Delilah dear, we hope you'll soon feel like your old self.
We are so happy to have you two BEAUTIFUL monkeys! We are sorry that Delilah has a cold right now and hope when she is feeling better that you all can visit us at Whimpurr's Whim! *purrs*
It is a momma's job to worry 'bout you. Our momma thinks dat youz got yourself a very and very good momma cuz she takez such good care of youz.
I hope your better soon Delilah! URI's are no fun! We are sending purrs and good thoughts your way.
Well we sure hope you are feeling better soon. FAZ
I'm glad you are feeling better! I was sick a few weeks ago, and I started antibiotics because I was blowing bubbles out my nose and open-mouthed breathing.
Harley got sick first, and all he did was sneeze a lot. He really did not seem sick at all except for the sneezing. I got sick just a few days later, and it really hit me hard. It is interesting how two cats react so differently to a virus.
We're sorry to hear that, Delilah! We hope and purray that you feel 100% real soon:)
We're sorry your feeling poorly, Delilah. Hope you get to feeling better soon, dear kitty!
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
That sad that you're not feeling well Delilah. We're sending you purrs to get better.
And we love the new banner! Very spiffy!
