Delilah is the current Head Tortie around these parts, but I'm turning one-year old on September 19th, so I think I'll make a run for that title.
Daddy always said I couldn't be the Head Tortie because I was just a kitten and I wasn't strong enough to beat Deli into submission, but I'm sure when I turn one I'll gain at least 4 pounds and be able to stage my coup.
In the meantime I'm taking certain steps to set the stage for the big takeover. Today I'm taking over her blog day, and I've also been making maneuvers when I visit.
Here I am sleeping in Deli's favorite spot in front of the hall mirror.
As you can see, she's not too pleased with it.
Deli likes posing and showing off her Tortie colours in front of the purple wall. She says it brings out her orange gene...
Well guess who else has an orange gene?! I'm much cuter too!
I can't wait until my birthday! Hmmmm, I think I'll make Bella my first officer. She may be tiny but her face is so intimidating! And Samson, well I bet I can find lots of uses for a big brute like him.
Uh oh! Here comes Deli! I guess she didn't like that 'much cuter' remark. Can't she wait until I'm one?

I can't believe you are almost one! I have a strong feeling that Deli may have a different opinion of things in her house.
Sweet Pea, you are adorable! Franklin says there are certain advantages to being "the kitten" in the house (we are using the word loosely in his case because he is 5), so you might want to consider those too!
P.S. Saw Samson's post below about his itches being gone - we hope he's feeling much better.

Wow Sweet Pea, you are getting to be an old lady. One year's old. So you are going to gain 4 pounds on the day of your birthday. Don't be too mean to Delilah, she has been nice to you. But you sure are cute. We love that picture of your paws and the purple back ground.
