Tortie Tuesday

I read Sweet Pea's post last week about becoming the Head Tortie here and I had to laugh. She reminds me of myself at her age, and I like to think that one day she'll assist me as Deputy Head Tortie.

I have been training her ever since she was a wee little kitten, and whenever she's here, we always continue our lessons.

I worry about her Tortitude, though. I think she's taking the lessons a little too seriously. Perhaps I should include Samson in our lessons so he can teach her how to be a little more sensitive.

When she's at home with The Ball Guy and Mommy goes over to visit, she's very sweet with Mommy, but when she's here, this is the kind of face that Mommy gets out of her when she tries to take a photo of her.

C'mon, Sweet Pea! Smile a little! Sometimes I think she should be named Sour Pea instead!

That is certainly a very sour face Sweet Pea is giving your mommy. You've done a great job training her but it does look like she could use some sensitive training from Samson. You both are very beautiful Torties though!

Oh my. That is a sour face indeed! I think she's just going through her rebellious stage though and with your guidance she'll soon be just as purrfect as you....almost.

Hey, don't be picking on her! Maybe she is just waiting for the right time to smile...like when the flashy box is gone!

But, a sour face is a normal face for us torties!

We LOVE Sweet Pea's sour face! Such tortitude. But we don't think she'll ever be the Head Tortie there, Deli - you seem to have that job locked up.

Sweet Pea, you had better get that smile on your face. We would hate to see your name changed to Sour Pea. Samson does need to give her some training now. But Torties do have to look sour most of the time. The two that live here always have a frown on their faces.
Have a great day.

Hey Delilah, hopefully under your tutelage she will come right along :-)

I think Sweet Pea is just trying to be intimidating because she wants to be Head Tortie. It will just take some time for her to learn she is Head Tortie at her place, but not at yours.

By the way, where does Bella fit into all of this?

MOL. Sour Pea! That's a good one, Delilah!

But we are glad you are being so good as to train her; with your wisdom, and sensitivity lessons from Samson, I'm sure she'll be just fine.

I'm back and still following you. As per my latest blog post, I'm letting everyone that's in my following list know I still have them.
Good luck on the sensitivity training. Nimbus always has the most serious look on his face, even when he's the happiest cat in the world!
