I might be going back to the vet again soon and since it's almost Christmas and I have to be good, I thought I'd show Santa how cooperative I am by practicing to get into the carrier.
Mommy hasn't seen me scratching since I took the medicine for my itchies a couple of months ago, but she did see another sore above my eye.
That photo was taken moments after she left the room with Sweet Pea and I together on the bed, so she doesn't know if I scratched myself or if Sweet Pea's Paw of Doom finally connected with my melon.
As you can plainly see, my forehead was still intact before Mommy left the room.
She is keeping an eye on me because she knows how difficult it is to test for allergies and she knows I hate to travel, even to the vet's with all the doting vet assistants!
I just hope Sweet Pea cleans up her act before Santa gets here!
In the meantime, I'm going to share the bed with Delilah only. At least I know she won't whap me!

Oh poor Samson! That's a nasty sore on your handsome head! We hope that Sweet Pea didn't do that but we don't want you to be scratching yourself either. We're glad your mommy is keeping an eye on you and good thinking of snuggling only with Deli (since we can't be there) so you don't get whapped.
Samson, I got the same spot as you !!!!
Is this a tuxedo's thing ?
Poor Samson! How'd you get a boo-boo? We hope it heals fast. Guess you can't be too careful around Sweet Pea.
Dude,
That's gonna be one wicked battle scar. We can't imagine sweet little Sweet Pea doing that. . . .
Maybe it's a good idea to hang with Delilah only for a while.
We're purring for your head to heal!
Ouchie! We hope that didn't hurt. Poor Samson, get well soon.
I'm glad your itchies are better! I hope your open sore isn't anything too serious. It's hard on us mommies when we don't know what is happening to our babies and they can't tell us! Get better soon sweet Samson!

Oh no!! Awww sweet Samson!! Me and Charlie hope your sore heals up asap!! Good luck at the vets! We think you are so good practicing staying in your carrier!! Yay for you!! We think gorgeous Sweet Pea is innocent!! We're sure it was all an accident!!
We are also waving to gorgeous Delilah and bella Bella! Take care

Poor Samson! That sore sure looks like it hurts. We hope it heals quickly, handsome boy. (We sure are glad your itchies are all gone . . . Yay!)
We're pretty certain that Santa knows that you are very, very nice, so we don't think you have to worry! Good thinking about hanging with only Delilah for now. Better safe than sorry. :)
Oh nooos Samson, that looks like a nasty sore.We hope that silly Sweet Pea didn't do that. We know your nice Mom will figure out where that sore came from. Could you just take a little more of the medicine without all the allergy tests??
Take care and have a great week.
Don't you go rubbing that sore Samson - it will only make it get worse. A word of caution - don't sit in that evil carrier too much or you'll find your mom will get off to the evil place more often.
Sweet Pea needs to save her paw of doom for bugs and stuff...not your precious noggin'.
I had to go to the v-e-t this past weekend. I complained and pouted but that didn't stop them from taking me. Santa will give you an extra treat if you go nicely into the carrier.
Oh my, maybe it is just an ouchy from a whappy, but I know your Mom will keep both eyes on it. I hope you heal up real quick like!!!
We hope you DON'T need a trip to the vet! Is there an antibiotic ointment your mom can try putting on it, to help it heal?
Lots of purrs, Samson!
Samson, you gots an owie on your head! We hope that it feels better very soon!
Oh Samson, we're sorry you got another boo-boo. In a way we kinda wish it was from Sweet Pea, then you wouldn't hafta go to the vet and get tested for allergies.
Ernie's got allergies too...he eats special foods even though we think now it's not really food allergies and probably something more enviromental...he seems to have the biggest problems with itching and chewing in the fall and spring. He's never been tested for exactly what he is allergic to because the vet says it's so time consuming and complicated...and since Ernie's allergies are kinda mild, we never saw the need to do the testing.
Samson, we hope you heal up soon. Johnny had an abscess on his forehead, and after Mommy popped it and cleaned out the wound she put a tiny dab of antibacterial ointment on it. You might ask your Mom to check with your vet to see if that's OK for you.
We say Sweet Pea needs clippy claws!
Poor Samson! My Cody had a very similar thing (but a little larger) and it turned out to be an allergy....we are thinking it was a food allergy. That is when he got put on rabbit food....
He still gets them occasionally but much, much smaller and they disappear rather quickly.
Keep us posted as to what happens. Purrs....
Poor Samson!!!!!! We purr that it was Sweepy's paw, so you don't have to go to the vet....but we also hope Sweepy will soon outgrow that "paw" thing!!!!!!!!!!
Love to all of you.
Aw, we hope your head heals without you having to go back to the vet. That's never fun.
Surely, Sweet Pea didn't cause your ouchie! But, you never know about us torties!
Oh Samson we just want to give you a sweet *kitty kiss* on your boo boo. WE hope that Sweet Pea did not bop you on the head. But then we don't want you to suffer with allergies either. We are glad that your Mom keeps such close tabs on you ... we will purr....
purrin

Sweet Samson, Santa already knows what a wonderful boy you are :-)
I keep getting an owie there as well Samson. Do you think Sweet Pea is sneaking over here and whapping me while I sleep?
Eric
::Mom and Fin fight to smother with healing kisses::
Poor Samson. We hope it is not too bad.
Yes, indeedy, it seems VERY suspicious to me! That Sweet Pea should keep her paws to herself.
It must be so difficult being the only mancat amongst three ladycats, cause the ladycats usually win.
Oh Samson! I do that too! When I first got to my forever home, I just wouldn't stop scratching my ears! turns out I had caught not only cat flu, but also mites while I was waiting for some suitable beans! Mostly better now, mummy still catches me sometimes... but hey the fur has grown back!
