Thankful Thursday

Mommy thinks she's so smart! She took some advice from Isabella, Angel and Sadie's Mom and mixed treats in our raw food and then mixed it up with some commercial food that we love so much and now we're eating raw!

I think Mommy forgets that we're cats and we rarely love something immediately.

I also wanted to post a before and after shot of my belly for my buddy Scooter. He was really concerned that the vet stole some of his furs to run tests. I just want to show him that they grow back!

Here is my belly about a month ago:

Here is my belly yesterday:

There's barely any pink left!

I'm thankful for my new food and my furs growing back to hide my 'treat belly'!

Samson, it took ages for my belly fur to regrow after my surgery. And I have short furs! Your belly looks as good as new to me! Chilli
Mom was stunned when she made ckicken and chicken broth when Chilli was sick and we wouldn't eat it. Chilli took some bites but I turned my nose on it.

I wish I had some quality food like that. All I end up having is dry food with some occasional tuna...

The before and after shots of your tummy were indeed classic. Nicely done. ;)

Thanks, Samson!!! I feel SO much better. I just told Mom yesterday that I think some of my Scoo-Tar the Magnificent super powers live in my floof. Lately, I haven't been feeling the need....the need for speed. I thought it was because they stole my floof, but I'm relieved to know I'll get it back someday. You're a great cat-friend, Samson!
BYE!

Yay! Really glad Sharla's advice worked.

And the before and after photo is great, Samson - I see your furs look as good as new.

P.S. Tasha thanks you very much for the comments, Samson. She said you have the right attitude about torties and that Deli (her sister in tortitude) has done a very good job in training you.

Samson, it is great that your fur is growing in so fast! Floyd had his tests where they shaved his belly and arm in January and you can still see some pink on his belly! Plus, you are lucky because you are white and it looks normal - Floyds belly fur is coming in a different color - he is black (although he has gotten more brown lately) and his fur is gray (although there is now some black under it) - yours looks like you were never shaved!

We're glad that putting some treats in your new food helped make it more tasty! And we're really happy that your floofy belly furs have all grown back Samson!

Samson, my brother Harley loved the Nature's Variety right away, but I would not even taste it. Even when she just mixed 1/2 teaspoon of the new stuff with my old food, I wouldn't eat it! Finally, she did the same thing: she put some yummy treats on top, and I eated some of the mixture! Then she just slowly increased the amount of the raw food with my old food and now I am eating it all up!
