World Cat Day

Today is World Cat Day and we are celebrating by remembering those cats that Mommy lived with before us. We wish we could all be here together!

This post is dedicated to these wonderful kitties that paved the way for our great life here. They're listed from most recent to way back when Mommy was a child. It makes Mommy sad that they are no longer here, but she says she is also filled with happiness when she thinks about each and every one of them.

-The Mudman (Muddy)
-MoMo (Othello)
-Sugah Wugah
-Miss Mew

And for The Ball Guy, we are thinking about his fuzzy friends that have gone to the Bridge.

Wow, that's a lot of thinking! We want all of the kitties in the list to know that we are taking care of both Mommy and The Ball Guy and doing our best to make them smile every day.

We also want to think about the kitties that don't have forever homes and purr for a better life for all of them.

We look a little bored in this photo but we really aren't. We've just been purring and thinking all morning! It can be exhausting..

We hope you all have a great day!

We wish you both a Happy World Cat Day and trust you'll receive extra treats to celebrate.

PS looking at the list again, the Zoolatry Human says she will come to you the next time she needs to "name a cat"... as there are grrreat names here!

Lots of kitties to miss! Our Mommy doesn't remember the names of all the kitties she had as a kid, the one whose name sticks out the most - she doesn't know why - is Misty. Maybe because that's the one she had to leave behind when she moved out after high school, then she didn't have kitties for 8 years until two of the ones she posted about today.

Lots of memories involved in that list, we're sure. A good way to celebrate the day.

Happy World Cat Day to you all!

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

Thanks for sharing the namesof the kitties before you. Makes Tommy smile to think of the tortie she way back when--looked like Deli. That kitty liked to walk up Tommy's leg to jump to her shoulder!

Wow, that IS a long list of kitties. Momma sometimes thinks about her kitty Chester, who went to the Bridge several years ago. EVERYBUDDY loved Chester.
We agree with the lady at choose really cool names!
