The Name Game

The Ball Guy still hasn't named his little bundle of fur! He says that he's waiting until the perfect name comes to him.

We thank you for all your wonderful suggestions and Mommy thinks there were plenty of perfect name ideas for the little sweetie, but I guess we should just let The Ball Guy come up with it when he does. The only name that has come close so far is Sweet Pea, which is kinda cute. She sure looks sweet! I can't wait to meet her.

She seems to be making herself at home at The Ball Guy's house. She's fetching soccer balls and he says she's bossing him around. I warned him about those Torties. Deli bosses me around all the time!

She has her appointment next Monday for her shots so we should be meeting her by the end of next week. Mommy is a little bit worried about how we'll react, but she thinks that if The Ball Guy brings her over frequently, we'll eventually get used to her. I'm excited but I'm also a little bit apprehensive about the whole thing. I can barely handle one Tortie, let alone two!

Sweet Pea seems like a good name to me. I think that if the Ball Guy brings her over for a short time, several times, you will get used to her.

Samson, you're gonna have your paws full of torties!!

One of mom's nicknames for Zoey is Sweet Pea...but we're not sure of the sweet part....

I don't think the Ball Guy should leave her nameless for too long! Surely he must call her something or other, even if it's temporary.

I like Sweet Pea. I call Domino Little Pea, a lot, as a nickname because she's so small.

Good luck with the introduction!

We went through many names before Angel let us know which one she liked. It will come.

SweetPea is purrecious! She's a doll. It's funny, them beans...they give us names but call us EFFURYTHING BUT our names! Like Cricket for example. Mom calls her Little Monkey Girl! She calls Skeeter, Mama. King: BigBoy or FatBoy and Pandora, well she's got TONS of names. Pink~Nose, LadyBug, Lades...Why, Why, WHY can't they just call us be our GIVEN names?!?

Sweet Pea, or as we would pronounce it here....Sweepee....sounds like a lovely name. The Ball Guy will know when the right name pops into his head.

We know the right name will come to the Ball Guy but we do like the name Sweet Pea too. Samson, you are going to have your paws filled with Torties but that just means twice the Tortie fun!

The name "Coriander" just popped into my head and I think the little one is about the colour of dried coriander. Cory for short is cute, too.

I took mom ages until she figured out our names. She will tell her name to the Ball Guy eventually.

I think you are right - he will know when the right name comes along. Harley was almost named Dexter!

Sweet Pea is a cute name but it is his decision - I just hope he makes it soon so she isn't too confused!

And wow Samson - 2 tortie girls to boss you around - well, good luck with that - I know that torties are famous for their "Tortitude".

Sweet is exactly what comes to mind seeing those pictures.

She is darling! Samson you could come over here, when there is too much tortitude.

That's so funny that Wendy thought of Coriander with Cory for short. ::purr:: I'm biased, but that would make me proud to have the little fluff ball named after me. Sometimes my mom calls me Coriander...plus a kazillion other things too. Including Sweet Pea.
