Some of you may remember that I had a huge matted knot of fur on my back a little while ago that kept getting bigger and bigger.
The humans removed it recently and I was left with a very unattractive bald spot! I refused to allow photos of the baldness...
I'm now proud to say that my beautiful furs have almost all grown back with no knots!
I almost didn't believe Mommy when she said it would. I guess I should trust her more!
She better not be thinking about using the dreaded FURminator on me again!

We refuse to believe you are anything less that PERFECT!
We're glad that it is in fact growing back!
Your face in the last pic is priceless, Delilah!
Mother knows best, Delilah! We're so glad your mom was right and your fur did grow back in.
It takes so long for the furs to grow back! Maybe if you let her use the Furminator once in a while you won't get a mat again. Or maybe you would like one of these grooming gloves? We think they could feel like scritches...
You might not have liked getting rid of it, Delilah, but you look so much beautiful without it!! We're glad your furs are back!
Delilah--your ARE BEAUTIFUL-no matter what!! Tommy says your eyes just have 'it'!

We love our furminator. You should let your Mom do that, it keeps those dreaded knots away.

My moms loves the furminator! I toleratefor as long as I can but I'm short-haired! She says it will help with hairballs too so I let her
You're looking beautiful Delilah, of course even with a bald spot you are very pretty! Only a couple of my boys will tolerate the furminator, but it does work wonders at removing that undercoat..I was afraid I'd brush them bald though!
If you just put up with the furminator a little bit each day, you won't get those nasty knots. It's ok, you can do it!
You have always been furry attractive.
We think you are ALWAYS gorgeous. Delilah....xxxxxxxxxxx
Does the furminator really work? Rosie will not like it! Love your pictures.

Yes, sometimes those tangles get too big even for the Furminator! I try to gently pull Dante's knots apart, but he always leaves whenever I try. A quick snip is better, as long as you don't get too close to the skin (I've made that mistake before, too). Ouch!
Anyway, Deli, you look simply gorjuss!
You are looking GORGEOUS today! Little Cricket is learning to like the brushing sessions, as she seems to be getting them right uner her neck. She's got LOTS of floof there. Mom is hoping she gets SUPER FLOOF like Samson!
Delilah,
You are a very Beautiful Tortie! Your fur grew back just wonderfully! Do you like getting brushed at all? I like brushies but my bro Tommy puts up a big fuss! Such a baby that boy.
Your friend,

Go back in my blog a couple months and you'll see how bad it can get. I was missing half of my fur because of mats! And mom takes such good care of us! Sometimes the glands back there just get a wee overactive and cause a mat there. It happens. The vet told our bean to bathe us in good ol' fashioned Dawn dish soap (not the knockoffs) and rinse us good and we should be fine - and both me and the boy were!

Tristan loves to be brushed and combed! Crikey...not so much. You're looking beautiful, Deli:)
You don't like the furminator? I loooove it and can't get enough of it.Eric
Your furs are byootiful, Miss Deli. Yeah, it's kinda scary how much the moms know, isn't it? But we pretty much never believe ours, either. MOL Then again, when she gotted us and said she'd love us forever...she's been true to that! :D
Thanks so much for coming by our Gotcha Day party, it was a lot of fun! We appreciate the industrial sized nip you brought along, we had quite forgotten how much nip a party bunch could go through. Teehee...

THose knots are bad. We are slick and don't get them and are sorry for out friends that do!
You should just grow short furs like we have! Or...get used to the furminator.
H@ll no I wont go! No Furminator!
We're glad your beautiful Tortie furs grew back Deli! Some times Mommys do know best - as hard as it is to believe.
