Mancat Monday

How To Effectively Block The TV - By Samson

Let's face it, humans spend far too much time watching TV and the computer. When they're watching, that means less 'me' time. I've come up with a move to help all you out there with a similar problem. Just put your face/head right in front of the big box! It works every time!

If you have any suggestions, please feel free to post them. We need to stick together and make sure we have all the 'me' time we want!

Have a wonderful Monday!

P.S. The bigger your head, the more effective the method is. My head is small but I have a lot of fluff to make up for it! Good luck!

Slowly move your head so that it obstructs their view and VOILA! They're staring at you instead of that silly box.

I came here via Cat With a Garden, and it looks like I have stumbled upon a kindred spirit...

Samson, I promise you: I have this down to an artform. I especially enjoy headbutting my pet as well to let her know that television corrupts her brain. You should try that also!

Samson, thanks for that wonderful tip. We will definitely be trying that out to get more "me" times!

Samson, we got little heads too so we have to use the whole body method!

Samson--what a great idea! In our house, we sometimes get right in front of the DVR box so Tommy can't get the remote to work...more ME time is right!

Thanks for the tip Samson!! The whole body block sound the best to us!! Knocking the remote off and hiding it works, too!!

Great idea, Samson! I do not mind TV time, because that's my special time to snuggle with my Mommie on her lap. And sometimes we get snacks, too.

Tasha says she likes the TV because we get a chance to snuggle with Dad (but she thinks he should look at her, not the TV!) Franklin actually enjoys watching TV for some reason. He likes commercials, sports, and old black-and-white movies... The other cats think he's weird.

Angel sits right in front of the computer monitor but she hasn't blocked the TV yet. I hope she doesn't see your tips Samson!
