In The Raw
When I lost my round in the Kitty Fight Club last week, Mommy said she'd get me a surprise to make me feel better. I've been anticipating all week and wondering what it might be. Maybe a cat condo? A live mousie? The possibilities were endless. Today she gets home with a bag that was far too small for a cat condo and there was definitely nothing moving in there. Delilah, of course is first to investigate, and she came back with news that it was a bag called Nature's Variety Raw Diet. She also said there was a picture of a cat, a chicken and a dog on the bag!
It was certainly not what I expected but maybe it could be yummy (I'm assuming it's chicken in that bag and not dog or cat)! Mommy's been looking into raw, ancestral, grain-free diets for us for a little while and because I need more moisture in my diet with my urinary problem, she figures the raw food would be a nice supplement to our grain-free Orijen kibble
I know Mommy has the best intentions and she really tries hard to make sure we're healthy but I didn't like it so much. I nibbled at it a bit just to make her happy but that was the best I could do. Deli didn't like it either! Poor Mommy - I didn't want to upset her! She says she's going to try again tomorrow and mix it up with some other wet food that we like. I hate to disappoint her but we'll probably just eat around it. She said she'd welcome any suggestions about getting us to eat this (don't tell her to get new cats!) as she's quite determined to incorporate this into our diets. Maybe I'm a little disappointed but if she really wants us to eat raw food, maybe she should consider my suggestion of a live mousie?

I'd be put off just by the woofie on the packet!
We have never tried it!
(Laughing at Misha's comment!)
We have never tried anything like that - however, I'm always looking for a cat food that will solve the overeating problem that two of the cats here have (guess which ones!) Maybe this would work!
DOn't worry, though u did not win, but are still cute!
Have a nice day!
Maybe Daisy and Harley can give you some advice. They're on a raw diet.
