Back to Work

Delilah is not pleased with me for posting 4 times this week but I will deal with the consequences as this is a very important post!

Mommy is going back to work full-time on Monday after being home for more than 6 weeks! This week she's been working from home making phone calls. This is our last week with her here and she is trying to work. I'm making it very difficult for her because I think all the time she has left at home should be spent adoring me!

She was on the phone so I tried this cute face.

That didn't get much of a reaction and she was still speaking to the customer so I tried this one.

...and the profile.

I know what you're thinking - how could she resist me? It seems impossible to me but yet, she was still blabbing away to the customer.

Then she had the nerve to access some work online! This called for drastic measures - I planted my butt right on her mouse! Ahhhh, success...

Ohhh yeah! That's the stuff!

It should never be this hard to get attention from my Mommy but it's so much more rewarding when I finally get it. It's going to be a difficult adjustment when she goes back but as long as she remembers my chest scratches, I'll deal with it.

Have a great weekend!

Samson

We know you will get lonely when she goes back to work but just think of the happy time when she comes home at night!

She will miss you all just as much when she has to go back. Good work on getting those chest scratches though, how could she resist.

Walking on the keyboard works too. That's seems to get humans' attention.

Boo Boo's right..... take a walk on the keyboard, works every time.

Samson, I know what that's all about. My tuxy Domino likes to obstruct my work, too. She sits right between my keyboard and the screen, so I can't see half of what's going on! Am I giving you more hints?

We like those photos of you in front of the photos of you on the computer. And we don't understand how your mom can stand to leave you all day (but we hope her return to work goes well!)

P.S. We like sitting on the mouse too, but our favorite thing is standing between mom and the screen.

You are irresistable!

Just think, though, Samson: Every time she touches the mouse, she'll think of you. Terrific work on training your pet to adore you!

She needs to bring you lots of toys with all the green papers she will be bringing home.

You must be firm about this, Samson! Let her know in no uncertain terms, that you are priority numero uno!

We can't believe that your mom could ignore you for so long! You're right, she should be adoring you every single second that she's home since she's going back to work next week.

You are really cute in all those pictures! I get my mom's attention by getting up behind her on the couch. Then I am level with the back of the head. I then flick my floofy tail over her hairs!
