The other day I had been sitting with my leg up in the air on and off for almost a whole day. Both of the humans thought it was 'adorable', 'so cute' and I even heard them use the word 'silly' . The reality was, I was quite uncomfortable, but it took them a whole day to figure that out!
You see, our regular food has been discontinued for sale in Quebec because of some silly language laws (don't get me started on language laws!) so Mommy figured it was a good opportunity to change us all over to a food that had a different protein and carbohydrate than what we've been eating so we could finally figure out what Samson is so allergic to and if it was indeed a food allergy.
She was very pleased that she eventually found a food that we all would eat and that would be good for allergies, but before she found this food, she had been trying a number of different ones. I don't have to tell you all that older cats and usually most cats in general should not be switched over abruptly to a new food. I'm 11 years old and my little tummy didn't react as well as my housemates' systems. I realize it is not very ladylike to discuss, but in the interest of full disclosure and Mommy's slowness in picking things up, I feel I must spell it out - all the food changes gave me T.H.E. R.U.N.S!
Ack! The shame! |
Mommy eventually figured it out after she went to do her cleaning of our toilets.
I am feeling more 'solid' now and hopefully Mommy is going to be more open to the very clear messages I'm sending out! Come on...as if my signs weren't obvious enough!
Thank you for your time but most of all, thank you for listening!
Bella

Bella, you are the Queen of Wordless Wednesdays because of your great expressions but it seems you mommy took the wordless part too far. Sometimes humans just don't understand when we are trying to say something so it's not your mommy's fault, it's just a human fault in general. We're glad she did figure it out though and that you're feeling better!

PeeS: Your eyes in the 2nd photo are absolutely gorgeous!
Sometimes it takes something other than words to get the message across to humans!
Bella, I'm glad you spoke out !
Because Cat's food is very sensitive issue ! It can make we have a good health or bad health, but I think your mom will try her best for you from now.
Bella, we are so glad yoo are feeling better. Sumtimes beans are slow on the uptake ~ ours are the same. Yoo hafta spell it owt to them. :sheesh:

Oh Bella, we are so sorry you are having such embarrassing problems. That is not any fun at all. Weren't you just so smart to hold your leg up trying to show that 'silly' Mom. We sure are glad that you are all right. Have yourselves a great day.
Sometimes we are so obvious in what we are communicating to our humans and they still don't get it.
I can tell by looking at your picture that your raised leg is clearly in the "I got the runs" position. Well at least she figured it out eventually.
These mums are rather slow at times Bella - fancy her not realising you had a (whispers) sore bottom - why else would you hold your leg up like that unless you had taken up yoga. We are so pleased she finally got the message and gave you different food
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Aw, poor Bella! We're sorry your mom was so slow in understanding your communication! And we hope that your poop is solid from here on out!
Big smooches from our mom and kitty kisses from us!
Happy Easter weekend to you all.

Maybe you need to throw a bunch of the litter out on the floor as an extra hint! Sometimes we just gotta get in their face sweet Bella!
Oh, sweet, gorgeous Bella, I can sooooooooo relate to your problems......I have a very touchy tummy, and I get the runs very easily too. I'm so relieved that your mom figured out the problem and that it's been corrected.
Totally pawsome pictures of you, gorgeous gal.
Love to all of you,
Andy
Oh Bella I am so very much sorry that you had the problem. Nothing worse than a Poopshooter gone WILD.
Poor baby...we are sorry your mommy missed the signs. But we are glad you are feeling better now - you are just gonna have to resort to the occasional whapping to get your point across. :)
Oh poor Bella, we are sorry to hear your tummy was upset! Hopefully you are better now.
Dear Bella,
Me is happy your human finally figured it out. Sometimes they takes a long time. Me knows mine does.
Hopes yous is feeling better soon.
Nellie
Oh Dear Sweet Bella, we hope your tummy feels better and we'z glad you had the opportunity to tell your story.
Poor Bella! Well, you got your message across eventually. You were very patient in doing so, as well!
You are so adorable, though, that it's easy to focus on that without thinking something might be wrong.
I never noticed the cute little white tufts on your feet before.
I'm glad to hear that you're solid again. It's never pleasant to have the runs -- especially when you've got all that floof it can stick to! I think you were airing yourself out -- probably couldn't stand your own smell. LOL!
By the way, Dante had the runs for a few days once, and I bought this stuff called "Runnypoo" (no kidding). It's herbal and it works great!
Tummy upsets are never fun. We're glad you're feeling better now!
