Ya know that feeling when you rediscover a comfortable old haunt that you had completely forgotten about? Today was so hot that even I, a cat, was sweating. I happened, unexpectedly, upon a neglected retreat; the cool, porcelain receptacle on top of the counter in the bathroom!
I have decided that I will not leave until the weather cools down.
Hey Mom? Can you bring my food in here?
It is so hard to find good help these days!

That's really cool place to be Samson, but watch out for when the humans have to wash their hands or brush their teeth. You will get evicted (or wet) then.
I've never been one for sinks, but you do look rather comfy!
What a COOL hangout! We've had the opposite weather here...it's really chilly so I've been snuggling with Momma ALL weekend. But when it's hot, jane and I like to hang out in the baftub with a toy or two and have some girl talk.

Great discovery (or re-discovery) Samson! Especially with all this hot weather we've been having. The sink is one of the best places to hang out. Too bad the servants aren't on the ball! (Hey, what about the ball guy -- he should be on the ball!)

Samson you are so cute in the sink! Floyd slept in sinks a lot when he was younger but he gave it up for some reason - maybe I can show him this and convince him to go back (because it is so cute!)
