I wanted to update you all on how it's going here, and since Sweet Pea isn't always around, it's easier to take over her blogging day than the other two blog hogs that actually live in this apartment.
The last time I spoke with you all, I expressed my distaste for my new housemates. Not much has changed in that department, but I have a lot of good news with other changes.
I am much more comfortable. I feel good enough to expose my belly in the middle of the house. The Mommy creature says this is a good sign, but I just think it means I want to air out my tummy.
I've also gained a whole pound. I'm 8 pounds now! I was very thin when I arrived here and my bones were sticking out, but the food here is fantastic and I'm eating very well.
Along with feeling good in my new home, I have really started to enjoy the affection I'm getting from the humans here. The female human (she wants me to call her Mommy, but I'm not quite ready for that) and I have a few snuggle rituals and I purr really loudly for her. She seems to enjoy that very much. The human male is also very sweet to me and I feel some affection for both of them.
Samson and Delilah have been very courteous with me, and I enjoyed meeting all of you at Samson's birthday party, so while I am still not cuddly with them, everyone has made me feel very welcome. I have a feeling I'm going to love it here!

Bella, you are so pretty! We're so glad you're settling in a bit - and we love the photo of you with your stomach in the air - we do not think you would do that unless you felt safe there. And we're glad to hear that you've gained a little weight.
P.S. Tasha says she knows what you mean about snuggling with your housemates! She will only snuggle with humans.
Good news that things are going better for you Bella. You look very happy in your new home. We love your pretty furs. Have a great weekend sweetie.

Oh Bella! This is all very fantastic news. I'm go happy you are feeling more comfortable and loved in your new home. I know it is a big adjustment for you.
It's an excellent sign that you have gained weight and want to show off your beautiful floofy tummy now. Purrhaps it is also helping that your floof is growing back in, and you don't feel so humiliated any more.
You have all the time in the world to get to know your new brofur and sisfur (and step-sisfur), so not to worry.
