Mancat Monday

Ever since I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis, Mommy has been very careful about creating a relaxed environment when I eat. Most of the time, she monitors Deli and I and we eat together, but I also get special alone time with Mommy and a plate of food in another room. I hate to admit it, but I really love eating in peace without Delilah snorting in the background. I love it so much that I really relax and get into it.

Look at the foods on my face! I was so calm that I forgot to clean myself...(you may have to biggify the picture to see all the stains!)

Does it make me look tougher?

I'm usually very fastidious so suddenly I'm a little embarrassed that I let myself go like this.

Enough pictures now, Mom. Let's change the subject...what're Tristan and Crikey doing today?

Hello Samson,

Maybe we're blind but we don't see anythings, no dirt or food in your face. You look just purrrrfect! Have a great day!

Don't be embarassed. It's good to leave yourself a little snack for later...right on your face. Very clever of you Samson.

Samson, you are an extremely handsome cat! And, as for the food on your chin...just save it for later!

You look very handsome, Samson! We can barely see the food. And we are glad we don't have a lot of white fur to keep clean.

And we agree about eating with torties - it's not very much fun! Mom had to talk to Tasha the other day because she pushed Franklin out of the dish. And Dobby used to have to eat in the hallway because he was scared of her (he is not afraid of her anymore, though.)

XXX from Franklin and Dobby

Our Mommy says you're handsome even with food on your face, and we're all happy that you are able to relax when you eat.

Luv from us,

You look fine to us, Samson. But your mommy shouldn't be sticking the flashy box thing in your face if you don't feel you look your best. Silly beans.

At least she's smart enough to let you eat away from Deli sometimes though.

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

No wonder you get stains on yourself, Samson -- you have such a large, white and floofy bib on all the time! There's nowhere else for the dribbles to go!

We're so happy that you can be more relaxed at dinner time now, though. Nobody likes to hear snorting while they eat!

If you get your food all over you, Samson, it just means you really enjoyed it!

Oh for heaven's sake Samson, couldn't she have waited with the flashy box 'til you had a quick bath?

Samson, I wouldn't say tougher but I would say younger, because I know a lot of little kittens who have that problem. And you are still pretty young, so you can totally get away with it!
